- Stainless steel scoop - didn't want more metal flakes
- No mechanical gimmicks like a button or lever to push to eject the ice cream

This scoop is the best scoop I've used. The scoop portion is stainless steel and it has a great shape to it.
The ice cream curls up with this product as you scoop it. That was one complaint I had against the Zyliss scoop - the ice cream would overrun the scoop and get on my hand. This scoop is dishwasher safe, too, and so far so good, it's holding up so far to nightly trips through the dishwasher.
